1. Additional Hire for Board Agenda
Description:
I have one additional hiring for Monday's regular school board meeting. It was moved by Director _____________ and seconded by Director _____________ to approve the hiring of Megan Kleinfehn as a special education paraprofessional effective the beginning of the 2015-16 school year as per administrative recommendation. Motion carried/failed by ___ vote. |

2. Targeted Services in Middle School
Description:
The middle school has had success supporting students through our ZAP program. We are now looking to add an additional layer of support through Targeted Services. ZAP is for 34 weeks, 1.5 hours per day, 2 days per week. 2 paras (their hourly rate) = $3,319.22 Targeted Services is for 20 weeks, 1.5 hours per day, 2 days per week. 2 teachers ($31.00/hour) = $4,283.58 |

3. Fiscal Year 2016 Budget
Description:
Mary is finishing up the fiscal year 2016 budget this week. The two of us will go through it on Monday morning in preparation for the board meeting. Please see a sample of the presentation from last year. She'll be using a similar template again this year. |

4. Approval of Weekly Building Project Quotes and Proposals
Description:
Please see attached a proposal from Jay's Tree Care & Firewood, LLC. AKA Mulching Mania. The proposal includes removal of trees for the future road going around the east side of the bus garage and along the east side of the tennis courts for the transportation pole shed. Also attached are renderings of the acoustical panels scheduled to be installed at the elementary gym. We were originally provided a quote for $9,980 less. Because we didn't want the very limited puke 1970s looking patterns and colors (couldn't get anything remotely near school colors only old sofa designs and colors) we are going with the colors and pattern in the attached pics. These acoustical panels will look nice like Annandale Elementary has in their lunchroom. |

5. Non-Union Negotiations
Description:
At the board meeting on Monday, we'll need to schedule a date for a special board meeting to discuss non-union negotiations. You'll find it as a discussion item in the agenda. The reason we need to have a special board meeting is because non-union negotiations cannot be closed like we do for union contracts. The Board needs to discuss their thoughts/ideas out in a public meeting. The special meeting will allow for this. |
