1. Paul Youngquist's Estimates for Needed Space at the MS/HS
Description:
Please find attached Paul Youngquist's (architect) estimates for needed square footage at the MS/HS. Accompanied with the necessary square footage are estimated costs. In the first attached document Paul illustrates the following space needed: 1. Existing 2. Required in response to learning 3. Required in response to enrollment 4. Suggestion from Activities Director In attached documents 2-4 are the estimated costs. It really is mind blowing. For example, in order to meet the space needs for current learning and response to enrollment the total estimated cost is $3.4 million + $9.7 million = $13.1 million. In addition to this space need is another $10 for maintenance needs at the MS/HS. The total cost is now $23.1 million. It is important to know Paul's numbers and K-A's numbers will be compared for any possible duplications and savings. It is important to know these documents are NOT ready for the public. They are working documents with costs that will change. |
