Discussion:  Mike Glover detailed the meeting's purpose in reviewing a new textbook for the Dental Science program. The Modern Dental Assisting 14th Edition textbook by Debbie S. Robinson has been on display in the front office for 60 days and the public view notice has been on the school's website for 60 days. The agenda was reviewed with no changes.  Kelli Jackson provided a report on the need for a new program textbook which currently operates with the 12th Edition. Ms. Jackson provided a presentation on the proposed new textbook noting the following viewpoints:

• Layout of chapters, bullet points and tables are more organized and provide more clarity.
• Clearer photos along with concise directions.
• Units are more visually appealing.
• COVID and infection control content is updated.
• Content aligns with ADE Dental Assistant standards.
