Please note that some of our awards are being given to students who are performing in tonight's concert. We will present them later on in the agenda when they are finished performing.

6. Truth-in-Taxation Hearing
Description:
We will read the Truth-in-Taxation resolution under the action items.

7. Public Comments
Description:
Other than Agenda items (Limit 30 minutes, 5 minutes per speaker). During the public comment part of each regular board meeting, up to 30 minutes of time will be allowed for district constituents to address the board. Each person may have up to 5 minutes of time to speak. This is a time of "listening" by the school board. The board is here to listen only and will not take action or discuss topics brought forward during the open forum. It may, at is discretion, ask questions for clarification of issues. The board may, if it deems appropriate, bring said issues forward at a subsequent meeting. NO PERSONAL ATTACKS WILL BE ALLOWED. The open forum is the only opportunity for members of the audience to speak out during the meeting. Please attached form and follow the guidelines for presenting your topic.

Description:
Chef Marshall O'Brien is offering continued consulting service to the district as our contract with him has run out. The SHIP grant was not secured so he outlines what it would cost our food service fund:
He’d visit one kitchen visit a month and offer Jordan anything that they have already produced at no additional charge. If Jordan would like new items/programs created, we’d bill accordingly. The contract would go December 10th through the end of school, June 5, 2014 at $500/month for 6 months, for $3000 total. |
