Discussion:
Susan Steward minutes asked about the minutes for 12-16 and 12-21 to show Clark Enersen as represented at the meetings. Also to amend the 1-11 minutes to include Rex Schultze as representing the Perry Law Firm and also to show that Mrs. Walter was in attendance.
Susan requested a statement of fees from Ameritas regarding the 12-29 bond issuance.

7.1. February 15, 2016 Board of Education regarding the Affordable Health Care Act
Discussion:
The Board established a meeting date of February 15, 2016 at 6:30 p.m.

7.2. North parking lot lighting
Discussion:
Mr. Hanger reported that lighting could be added to the North parking lot in Palmyra at very little cost to the district and that doing so would help to alleviate a safety issue. The Board was in favor of adding the additional lighting.

7.3. Regulations and policy regarding drones and school designated areas
Discussion:
Board President Maahs discussed the nature of drones over school property and Mr. Kelley Baker reported that currently most schools do not have a policy to address this.

|
7.4. Negotiations Committee meeting dates
Discussion:
The committee will meet on January 25, 2016 at 4:45 in Palmyra.

7.5. Bennet rental house and existing Pre-K buildings
Discussion:
Mr. Hanger presented the Board with information regarding lease options. The Board will continue this discussion at the next meeting.

Discussion:
Changing item F-2 1-A and F-3 to $15,000 and adopting option 5 for building committee approval for change orders and directives between $15,001 and $25,000. Opional item 6 will be omitted from the protocol.

8.2. Presentation, discussion and or official action regarding (a) enhanced construction administration services or (b) owner’s representation services from a third party for observation and supervision of the Work of the Bennet and Palmyra construction projects.

Discussion:
The Board will ask Superintendent Hanger to issue a proposal for a third party owners representative and to engage in an initial screening process to bring interview candidates forward to the building committee. The committee will conduct initial interviews with the top three candidates to interview with the Board of Education.
The Board will review documents provided by Rex Schultze to define the request for proposals/quotes to be published after the January 25th meeting.
