Stephanie Taylor, Tiffany Harris, Zaria Harris, Alexis Washington, Audrey Meadows, BL, received "Outstanding" at Project Citizen State showcase, "Should the State of Michigan pass legislation to change the way that public schools are structured and funded, in order to avoid future budget crises?"

2.g. Joshua Stovall and Martina Umoh, TMS, winners at Middle School Division of Teen Poetry Writing Contest sponsored by Southfield Public Library

2.h. Donovan Dennis, UHSA, 1st Place in 10th Grade Division of Kroger's Black History Contest, "What Black History Means to Me" and won a laptop and was honored at a luncheon

2.i. Terrell Williams and Michael Frasier, SLHS, accepted into the Jazz Band (Terrell) and teh Concert Band (Michael) at the Youth Arts Festival in Kalamazoo
