Description:
This Executive Session of the Klamath Falls City Schools Board of Education is now called to order. The board is meeting in Executive Session pursuant to ORS 192.660(2)(d). No decision may be made in Executive Session. Representatives of the news media, designated staff, and invited guests shall be allowed to attend the Executive Session. Representatives of the news media are specifically directed not to report on any of the deliberations during the Executive Session, except to state the general subject of the session as previously announced. No recording of the Executive Session is allowed without express permission from the Board.

2.1. Information and discussion regarding KFEA negotiations

Description:
NARRATIVE
BACKGROUND: KFEA members have voted to decline the district offer of the 2% cola and 3.4% increase on the insurance cap. Instead, they would like to forgo the 3% bonus and be granted a 4% cola and a small insurance cap increase.
The administration recommends cancelling the 3% bonus and giving a 4% cola and a 1% insurance cap increase for the 2021-22 school year.
