5. Curriculum & Instruction (C&I) Committee (Mr. Geheren-chair, Mr. Gentry, Mr. Troy)

5.1. HHS Course Proposals for 2021-2022 (A) (Dr. Schlichter)
Dr. Schlichter will present proposed HHS courses for implementation in the 2021-2022 school year.
Recommendation: Seeking approval of the Board of Education at their next regular meeting.

5.2. Illinois School Report Card Update (R) (Dr. Schlichter)
Dr. Schlichter will present an update on the 2020 Illinois School Report Cards for schools in the District.
Recommendation: This report is for  informational purposes.

 

5.3. Contract with the Consortium on Reaching Excellence (A) (Dr. Schlichter)
Dr. Schlichter will present a contract with the Consortium on Reaching Excellence to deliver professional development services in elementary literacy in a train the trainer model.
Recommendation: Seeking approval of the Board of Education at their next regular meeting.  

6. Finance Committee (Mr. Quagliano-chair, Mr. Gentry, Mr. Cratty)

6.1. Payables (A) (Mr. Altmayer)
The Finance Committee is submitting the purchase orders at $318,060.93; imprest checks at $58,786.29; accounts payable at $1,234.29; and disbursements issued at $1,409,731.87; for review and seeking approval to move forward.
Recommendation: Seeking approval of the Board at their next Regular meeting.

6.2. Monthly Fiscal Updates (R) (Mr. Altmayer)
Mr. Altmayer will provide the monthly fiscal updates and the Activity Fund Balance Report.

6.3. Revenue & Expenditures Report (R) (Mr. Altmayer)
Monthly report for review and comment.

6.4. Revenue Contract (A) (Mr. Altmayer)
Mr. Altmayer will seek approval of the fundraising contracts as presented.
Recommendation:  Seeking approval of the Board of Education at their next regular meeting.

6.5. Levy Hearing (A) (Mr. Altmayer)
Mr. Altmayer will seek approval to hold the Levy Hearing on December 17, 2020.

6.6. Preliminary Tax Levy (A) (Mr. Altmayer)
The Preliminary Tax Levy 2020 will be presented for approval in preparation for the December Levy Hearing.

10. Board of Education (Mr. Quagliano)

10.1. Minutes (A) 
The following meeting minutes have been prepared for review and approval:  October 8, 2020, October 15, 2020 and October 22, 2020.
Recommendation:  Seeking Board approval

10.2. 2020 Delegate Assembly (A) (Mr. Quagliano)
Mr. Quagliano will lead discussion of the 2020 IASB Delegate Assembly Proposals and Resolutions.  Members will convey and debate their position on proposed resolutions.
 

10.3. IHSA Basketball Season (R) (Dr. Rowe)
District administration is seeking guidance from the Board regarding participation in IHSA athletics that move forward outside of public health department recommendations. 
Recommendation:  Seeking guidance from the Board.
