Jean Anderson was present from the ESPD was present to share updates. She attended NASES meeting they focused on MIPS on the first day. Jenifer Irvine, Fairbanks explained the two cost pools for reimbursements. They are not going to make a deicsion if the ESUCC should be on a district list. Nebraska is the only state that did not align the service agent employees with the service agency. They are going to need help from ESUCC on how we can get services back to the school districts. Clear guidance on ESU employees working in districts, are they ESU or district. ESU 7 pays for non-reimbursables. They are giving services back to the district. Need to give back equitably across districts.

Project Para has been a busy month for user email and phone requests. We work with both districts and participants to try to help them in getting setup and logged in. We have been working on updating the Supervising Paraeducators site. This site provides training materials for teachers who oversee Paraeducators. We are continuing work on the administrative side of the Paraeducator Self Study Program. ESUCC staff helped procure two presenters for the Para Conference in November.
