Discussion:
Executive Director shared the final budget with the Board. He also reviewed the areas that need to use carryover funds (Admin, Coop, IMAT.) Total budget carryover is decreasing over the past several years. We have extra funds available for any grants, special projects, etc. that may come up throughout the year. Project Para is one area that ESUCC. Executive Director also shared the Innovation Grant is in it's final year. We continue to work with NDE to update the MOU to include CCSI, NROC, etc. Executive Director reviewed the Omaha World Herald posting to share concerns from Senator. We will continue to review/report each month the actual budget and the proposed budget. We are a political subdivision therefore we are required to have a Budget Hearing and also advertise the meeting in a local newspaper. We need to continue to have discussion on making ourselves more entrepreneurial.
