Discussion:
President Lutkemeier called the meeting to order at 7:00 pm. The meeting was advertised in the October 3rd publication of the Hastings Tribune. "The Open Meetings Act" poster was displayed in the meeting room.

8.1. Superintendent
Discussion:
Mr. Bauer notified board members that his superintendent evaluation is coming up. The evaluation is set for November. The Negotiations team would like to meet 30 minutes prior to the November board meeting. The Negotiations committee include Allen E., Daren, N., Leon L., and Alan B. The auditor has been out to conduct the 2020-21 audit. Mr. Bauer also stated the TVC administrator's meeting was today. He also reminded board members about the upcoming NASB Conference set for Wednesday, Nov. 17th through Friday, Nov. 19th.

8.2. Elementary Principal
Discussion:
Mr. Arntt reported that Farm Safety Day was held on Wednesday, September 22nd. Picture retakes were September 29th. Fire Prevention Week was October 4th - 8th. Campbell Fire Department brought a truck over for the students to see. The Kindergarten class visited the St. Libory Pumpkin Patch on October 7th. 1st quarter ended October 8th. Report cards were sent home on the 11th.
4-H after school will be held in the elementary commons from 4:00 to 5:30 on Tuesdays - - October 12th, 19th and 26th. Fitness Day (YMCA) for the 4th grade was postponed until Spring. Mr. Arntt attended the School Law Conference on Wednesday, September 22nd. He also reported that the contents originally stored in the fairgrounds commercial building have been removed. Pop tabs have been collected and are designated for the Ronald McDonald House, if they are still accepting them. If not, they will be taken in for scrap metal. |

8.3. Secondary Principal
Discussion:
Mr. Drake reported that MAP testing was completed. He gave a summary of the results. Parent-Teacher Conferences were September 16th with 63% attendance. FBLA FLC conference was held September 28th. Homecoming was October 8th. Report cards were mailed home on October 12th. PSAT testing was today. Upcoming events include District Cross Country in Franklin on October 14th. TVC volleyball will be at Franklin on October 16th and 18th. ESU 9 TLC at Adams Central on October 18th. Volleyball Pink Night vs Wilcox/Hildreth on October 19th. Apply to College Day is set for October 20th. The Silver Lake Volleyball's Invite is scheduled for October 21st. And volleyball's sub-districts are set for October 25th & 26th. Veteran's Day Program will be November 11th. Karen Haase with KSB will be speaking about Digital Citizenship also set for November 11th. Mr. Drake attended the School Law Update in Kearney. He also reported that State Track will be staying with the 4 day format.
