The regular board meeting was called to order by President Steve Vyhnalek. The Pledge of Allegiance was recited.

9.1. Principal's Report
Discussion:
In December we had Longhorn Line-up, the elementary Christmas concert, and the elementary excellence rally. This month we had health screenings and the secondary excellence rally.

9.2. Superintendent's Report
Discussion:
Precision Signs came back over the break and made sure all the wall mats were properly secured. Bus 17 was taken to Geneva Tire and Auto to get aligned. The Blue River Cohort was held on January 6th. Argonne National Laboratory did the air quality testing over the break. We have not received the results back yet.

10.1. Tax Statement Explanation
Discussion:
Dr. Cogswell explained that The School Tax Credit now reduces your property tax on your statement - you no longer have to claim it when you complete your taxes.

Discussion:
The calendar was given to school board members to look over.

||||
10.3. School District Classification
Discussion:
Dorchester is classified as a Class One District as per the State Statute 79-104
|

10.4. Teach Nebraska Scholarship
Discussion:
Dr. Cogswell discussed with the board that a para would like the school to sponsor her for Teach Nebraska
