10.B. Handing out Eagle Feather Honors at Graduation
Of the 12 Native American students graduating this spring. There are four seniors eligible to receive an eagle feather this achievement honor. They are enrolled members of the White Earth Tribe qualifying them under Minnesota State Law to receive the honor. The feathers must be given to them by a Tribal Elder or Enrolled Native American School Representative. Carol Vic is qualified. The feathers would be given out at graduation prior to diplomas being issued.We are asking the School Board to grant permission for Carol to hand out the eagle feathers during the ceremony. |
10.C. Overnight Request - FIRST Robotics - Sam Roepke
The FIRST Robotics team has qualified to participate in the MNSHSL State Robotics tournament to be held at University of MN on May 19-20th. I would like to request the approval of an over night trip for the Robotics team. This would include 6 students and 2 advisors. I am requesting the District pay for 4 rooms for 1 night. |
