Description:
This time is set aside for the public to make comments on items within the authority of this Board & are not for Board interaction at this time. Matters raised cannot be deliberated or acted upon until properly placed on a future agenda. Comments that are irrelevant, repetitious, slanderous, offensive, inflammatory, willfully disruptive or deemed personal attacks will not be permitted. A "request to speak" card must be completed & submitted to the Board President before Public Input is opened. A time limit of 3 minutes per person or 5 minutes for the spokesperson for a group may be imposed. Ten copies of handouts must be provided.

6. DISCUSSION/POSSIBLE DECISION ON AUTHORIZING ADDITIONAL STAFFING ALLOCATION(S) IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE AVAILABLE FUNDING PROVIDED BY THE AUTHORIZATION FROM THE JOINT HEALTH INSURANCE COMMITTEE TO WAIVE THE 25% CONTRIBUTION TO THE HEALTH INSURANCE RESERVE FUND, FOR POSSIBLE ACTION

7. APPROVAL OF GREAT BASIN COLLEGE DUAL CREDIT COURSES, FOR POSSIBLE ACTION
Description:
The District is required to annually approve the dual credit courses. There has been no change since last year. Recommended Action: That the board approves the list.

CLOSED SESSION PURSUANT TO NRS 288.220 FOR THE PURPOSE OF CONFERRING WITH MANAGEMENT REPRESENTATIVES REGARDING COLLECTIVE BARGAINING AND OTHER PERSONNEL MATTERS; NRS 241.015(3)(b)(2) TO CONDUCT A NON-PUBLIC MEETING FOR THE PURPOSE OF RECEIVING INFORMATION FROM THE DISTRICT'S LEGAL COUNSEL REGARDING POTENTIAL OR EXISTING LITIGATION; OR NRS 241.030(1)(a) TO CONSIDER THE CHARACTER, MISCONDUCT, COMPETENCE, OR PHYSICAL OR MENTAL HEALTH OF A PERSON

9. DECISION REGARDING POSSIBLE STUDENT RIGHTS VIOLATIONS RELATED TO RESTRAINTS, FOR POSSIBLE ACTION
Description:
The board will make a determination on whether the rights of any student may have been violated during a restraint.
