Description:
This time is set aside for the public to make comments on items within the authority of this Board & are not for Board interaction at this time. Matters raised cannot be deliberated or acted upon until properly placed on a future agenda. Comments that are irrelevant, repetitious, slanderous, offensive, inflammatory, willfully disruptive or deemed personal attacks will not be permitted. A "request to speak" card must be completed & submitted. A time limit of 3 minutes per person or 5 minutes for the spokesperson for a group may be imposed. Ten copies of handouts must be provided.

4. PUBLIC HEARING REGARDING POTENTIAL CLOSURE OF MT. CHARLESTON ELEMENTARY, INFORMATIONAL ITEM
Description:
This time is set aside for the public to comment on the potential closure of a school pursuant to NRS 393.080 & 393.085. When all persons requesting to be heard on this matter are finished, the hearing will be declared closed & all discussion by the public will end.

5. DISCUSSION/DECISION REGARDING POTENTIAL CLOSURE OF MT. CHARLESTON ELEMENTARY, ACTION ITEM

Description:
This time is set aside for discussion among board members only. Recommended Action: That the board makes a decision to place Mt. Charleston Elementary into "mothball" status in the summer of 2011.
