III.1. Discuss & Consider & Possible Approval of State Waiver for Low Attendance Days
Description:
Bartlett ISD student attendance was unusually low on Monday, February 8, 2016 due to lack of water caused by the City of Bartlett's water pump failure. Notification by the city late Sunday evening to the citizens of Bartlett was given too late to cancel classes at that time. We believe the lack of water supply in the city posed a serious health and safety issue to the students of Bartlett ISD. Therefore, we are asking for a low attendance waiver on this date.
