3.B. Discuss allowing an employee to carry a weapon on school premises. This authority is provided to the board of education via 21 O.S. Section 1280.1 and 70 O.S. Section 5-149.2. The identities of such personnel shall be maintained as confidential pursuant to 51 O.S. Section 24A.7. This executive session is authorized by 25 O.S. Section 307(B)(7) and 51 O.S. Section 24A.28.

6.A. Motion to approve or not approve of superintendent recommendation to hire the following support personnel for the 2024-2025 school year 25 O.S. Sec.307(b)(1)

6.B. Vote to approve 1 employee to be allowed to carry a handgun on school premises in compliance with 21 O.S. Section 1280.1 and 70 O.S. Section 5-149.2. The identities of these employees will be maintained as confidential as per 51 O.S. Section 24A.28. The board hereby authorizes the administration to list the names of those employees approved in this item by the board and place said list in a confidential sealed envelope that will not be a public record.
