This month's Spotlight on Learning will feature Orchestra.
Good News - The HMS 7th/8th Grade Combined Orchestra was selected to perform at the Nebraska Music Educators Association's 2026 Conference/Inservice Clinic in Lincoln this coming November. Only a very few string ensembles throughout the entire state are selected in a given year, out of all performing ensembles, following a competitive audition process. I don't know off the top of my head when HPS last had an orchestra accepted to perform at NMEA. It's been quite a few years at least. |
