Rationale:
Per the cooperative agreement for Competitive Dance, Douglas School District is responsible to hire and pay an assistant dance coach. The 2021-22 assistant coach was hired with special board approval, and this is being requested again. We also request the position be added to the negotiated agreement Appendix B for future years.

Rationale:
Every school board that is a member in good standing - with its dues paid for the current year - with ASBSD may appoint one of its sitting board members to act as the district’s official delegate for the annual Delegate Assembly, which sets the legislative direction for the Association for the upcoming legislative session.
Please note: ASBSD requires the name and information of the appointed delegate in order to communicate information about resolutions and standing positions to them and about the Delegate Assembly event. School boards receive 25 ALL points for appointing a Delegate and 25 additional points for the Delegate's attendance at Assembly. The deadline to appoint is Tuesday, November 8. ASBSD’s 2022 Delegate Assembly is scheduled for Friday, November 18 in Pierre at the Ramkota Conference Center, at 1 p.m. (Central) and EACH member district should appoint a board member to represent their school board and vote on positions that help set our legislative direction. |
