6.D. Americanism Committee Report
Discussion:
Mr. Glenn gave the 8th graders the Civics Test last week. 95% earned a passing grade on it.
Mr. Whipkey is going to give the Seniors the Civics Test the week we come back from Christmas break. They will take it again at the end of April or beginning of May. 7-12 Curriculum is the same we have used the last couple of years and it is aligned.K-6 is using Social Studies Weekly to meet requirements The Veterans’ Day program the students and Ms. Niemeier performed, met the patriotic song requirements. I need to check with Ms. Niemeier on proper conduct during flag presentation. Checklist shows who is responsible for each area. Teacher report shows the activities the teachers have done to meet the requirements of the Americanism Act Public Comment: Teressa Carey Commented on the Veterans' Day Student Displays and the Veterans' Day Program |
