IV.
Public Input: The policy of the education district board is to encourage discussion by persons of subjects related to the management of the district at board meetings. The board shall, as a matter of policy, protect the legal rights to privacy and due process of employees and students. Persons who wish to have a subject discussed at a public board meeting must notify the executive director’s office in advance of the board meeting. The person should provide his or her name, address, the name of group represented (if any), and the subject to be covered or the issue to be addressed. The board retains the discretion to limit discussion of any agenda item to a reasonable period of time as determined by the board.

C. Johnson will provide the history of your journey with online instruction. This journey began in 2014 at the request of the member districts. The presentation will bring the board up to today and the changes we have experienced this fall.
Information will include meeting information, letters of support, stakeholder activity, applications and best practice work as well as the impact individual partners can have on our collective work. |

C. Johnson will present the 1st Reading of Policy 104 Education District Mission Statement. The education district has been participating in five-year strategic planning cycles over the past 20 years. The most recent planning was completed in January 2024. This policy assures that this practice continues in perpetuity.
