5. Conduct a public hearing to receive public comment on budget and proposed tax rate of $1.2714. (Discussion Only)

7. Consider contracts with ESC 16 for the 2025-2026 school year.  (Action Required)

9. Consider options for 2025-2026 teacher salary schedule and non-teacher staff salaries changes, if any, in response to HB 2 legislative pay increases. (Action Required) 

 

10. Discuss and update on weather damages, including, but not limited to: engineer reports, insurance updates, estimates on repairs/replacements, facility conditions, costs, football season expectations/ideas, and next steps. (Discussion only)

• Deliberation and possible action on Resolution authorizing the Superintendent to make emergency repairs to District Facilities pursuant to Tex. Ed. Code §§ 44.031(h) & 44.0312(c) necessitated by the severe storm of August 3, 2025. (Action Required)

14. Superintendent's Report: Update on TEA release of A-F ratings, current enrollment, Public meeting for Title I and reaping Title II and Title IV funds, preliminary FIRST rating, board goal workshop, safety updates, TSL update, TIA update, and cash flow.

A)Discussion re. the duties, performance, and employment of administrators, teachers, paraprofessionals, custodial, maintenance, cafeteria, support personnel, and business office.
