Snyder ISD is unable to meet compliance with an armed peace officer on all four campuses. The exception allows us to have an alternate plan in having armed personnel on each campus.

The stipend schedule is being presented for approval with the following additions and revisions, with the goal of a tiered pipeline to enhance student outcomes:
Assistant Principal Resident - Addition Mentor Teacher - Clarification Mentor Teacher, Advanced - Clarification Instructional Lead K-5, Math/RLA - Addition and Clarification CTE (6-12) - Addition of grades 6-8 |
8.D. Consider authorizing the Superintendent to enter negotiations with and execute an agreement with Jacob & Martin, LLC for Master-plan/Pre-Bond services with a maximum total contract value of less than $50,000.

8.E. HB 3033 - Designation of Non-Business Days

Description:
HB 3033 more narrowly defines "business days." Under the revised statute, the only days that do not count as business days are the following: · Weekends - Saturday or Sunday; · National Holidays - New Year’s Day (Jan 1), Martin Luther King, Jr., Day (Jan 20), President’s Day (Feb 17), Memorial Day (May 26), Independence Day (July 4), Labor Day Sept. 2), Veterans Day (Nov. 11), Thanksgiving Day (Nov. 28), and Christmas Day (Dec. 25); · State Holidays - Confederate Heroes Day (Jan 19), Texas Independence Day (March 2, observed March 3), San Jacinto Day, Emancipation Day (April 21), Lyndon B. Johnson Day (Aug 27); · The Friday before or the Monday after a holiday described above if the holiday occurs on a Saturday or Sunday and the governmental body observes the holiday on that Friday or Monday; and · The statute permits the Board of Trustees to designate up to 10 additional days each calendar year when the district’s administrative offices are closed or operating with minimal staff that may be used in calculating deadlines. Designated Non-Business days for the 2024-2025 school year include: December 26, 27, 30, 31 March 17, 18, 19
