10. RESOLUTION: BOARD APPROVAL OF HEAD START PROGRAM
In accordance with the federal Head Start Performance Standards, the Walled Lake Consolidated School District Board of Education is the governing body of our program. To comply with all federal contract regulations, Walled Lake Schools Head Start is submitting the following items for School Board approval. |
11. RESOLUTION: MHSAA COOPERATIVE TEAM APPLICATION - GYMNASTICS
Over the past several years, participation in our high school gymnastics programs has steadily declined. The number of gymnasts at Walled Lake Central and Walled Lake Western High Schools fall well below the minimum needed to support a viable and competitive program. To ensure that all interested students in our District have the opportunity to train, compete, and represent Walled Lake Schools in gymnastics, we recommend approving a cooperative team model that brings together athletes from all three high schools. Administration recommends the Board approve the Michigan High School Athletic Association (MHSAA) Cooperative Team Application. |
12. BOARD MEETING DATE CHANGE
The 2025-26 Board Meeting Dates were publicized following the January 9, 2025, Special Organizational Board meeting. To better accommodate Board members' schedules, the Board will consider moving the December 4, 2025, Regular Meeting to December 18, 2025. |
