9. RESOLUTION: APPROVAL OF SCHOOL IMPROVEMENT BOND PROPOSITION
Pending official notification from the Michigan Department of Treasury that the District’s Application for Preliminary Qualification of Bonds has been approved, administration will recommend that the Board approve the School Improvement Bond Proposition to be voted on at a Special School Election on May 7, 2024.

11. BOARD POLICY ADOPTION
The updated Board Policies were provided for the Board's review at the Regular Board meeting on January 11, 2024. The updated policies are in alignment with the current law, and Administration recommends the adoption of this updated Board policy.

12. BOARD POLICY ADMINISTRATIVE REGULATIONS UPDATE
The following Board Policy Administrative Regulations have been updated and are being provided as informational items prior to the Board Policy website update and notification.

• 2001 AR Student Fees, Deposits, Fines, and Charges have been updated to reflect the 2024-25 Preschool Program fees prior to the Preschool registration process.
• 2002-AR (Field Trips) Regular Field Trip Consent Form has been updated.
• 4000 AR Central Office Administrators and Building Administrators Board policy regulations have been updated to reflect administrative changes in the District.
• 4000 AR Personnel has been updated to comply with the law.
• 6003 AR Safety and Security-Threat Assessment and Suicide Intervention has been added in alignment with the new Board Policy

13. RESOLUTION: MASB BOARD OF DIRECTORS ELECTION FOR REGION 8
The Michigan Association of School Boards (MASB) requests that the Walled Lake Schools Board of Education officially select one candidate for the MASB Board of Directors, Region 8 three-year term. The candidates are as follows:
•    Melandie Hines, Wayne Westland Community Schools, Wayne County
•    Birgit McQuiston, Lake Orion Community Schools, Oakland County (Incumbent)
•    Evelyn Pridemore, Redford Union School District, Wayne County
