Description:
PUBLIC COMMENT ON AGENDA ITEMS: The Board of Trustees will hear public comment on agenda items at all open meetings in accordance with Texas Government Code Section 551.007.
Oral comments are limited in length, and may be reduced at the discretion of the Board President in the interest of time and efficiency, unless extended by a majority of the trustees, and must not mention any employees by name or position or contain any personally identifiable reference. Persons who wish to participate in this portion of the meeting shall sign up by completing the appropriate form on the District website, in person, or by sending an e-mail with the form as an attachment to the e-mail address listed on the form which must be received no later than 10:30 am on the day of the meeting. If a topic is listed on the board agenda, the agenda item may be discussed by the Board. A written response/acknowledgment may be provided. |

Public Comment on Non-Agenda Items
Description:
PUBLIC COMMENT ON NON-AGENDA ITEMS: A portion of each regular meeting will be allocated to citizen inquiries unrelated to agenda items. A Klein ISD employee, resident, vendor or potential vendor shall have an opportunity to address the Board of Trustees: to make a request for specific factual information, to ask for a recitation of existing policy, and to redress grievances. In accordance with the law, no deliberation, discussion, or decision will be made other than to consider a proposal to place the subject on the agenda for a subsequent meeting, unless the subject is listed on the board agenda, in which case it may be discussed by the Board.
