Description:
New Elementary School Two will be constructed at approximately 2000 West Parkview Drive in Syracuse. The District Professional Services Selection Committee evaluated proposals, including qualifications, past performance, project management plans, and interviewed three construction companies. Construction management fees were also factored into the selection formula. The successful firm will work as a construction manager (Cm) to assist the design team with cost estimates, constructability reviews, and monitor the bid climate. Once plans are complete, the construction manager will change hats and become the general contractor (Gc) and will bid out the project to sub-contractors in July. Construction is anticipated to begin in August and be complete in April 2025.

4.C. Bountiful Elementary Rebuild Cm-Gc (exhibit)

Description:
The Professional Services Selection Committee has selected a Construction Manager/General Contractor for the project. The Committee reviewed and scored qualifications, past performance, management plans, conducted interviews, and evaluated fee proposals from four construction companies. The successful firm will work as a construction manager (Cm) to assist the design team with cost estimates, constructability reviews, and monitor the bid climate. Once plans are complete, the construction manager will change hats and become the general contractor (Gc) and will bid out the project to sub-contractors. Plans are expected to be complete in June and bid in July. Construction will begin in August 2023 and is expected to be complete in 2025. The new building will be constructed in the play field west of the existing building. Once complete, the existing building will be demolished and replaced with playfields.

4.D. Teen Center Renovation - Phase 2 - Clarification (exhibit)

Description:
New Teen Centers will be constructed at Syracuse High School, Viewmont High School and Layton High School. At Syracuse High School, a classroom and the adjacent collaboration space on the north wing of the building will be converted. At Viewmont High School, the un-used gymnasium foyer on the north side of the building will be renovated. The configuration is different at each school. Both will have showers, changing rooms, laundry, private study areas, wellness spaces, and food pantries. Work at Layton High School is minimal, including the installation of an emergency exit door in the media center and the creation of two private study rooms. Construction will begin immediately and is expected to be completed this fall.

4.E. Teen Resource Center Cm-Gc (exhibit)

Description:

This project is to construct a homeless shelter with a minimum of 16 beds for Davis County teens. The new shelter will be located at 75 North Fort Lane in Layton . The facility will be leased to a third-party company who will operate the shelter. Plans are expected to be completed and bid out this fall. The project is expected to be completed in the spring of 2024.

4.F. Bountiful High School Stadium Renovation Cm/Gc Selection (exhibit)

Description:
The Professional Services Selection Committee has selected a Construction Manager/General Contractor for the Bountiful High School Stadium Renovation project. The Committee reviewed and scored qualifications, past performance, management plans, and evaluated fee proposals from interested construction companies. The successful firm will work as a construction manager (Cm) to assist the design team with cost estimates and conduct a constructability review. The construction manager will then bid on the project to sub-contractors. The existing stadium at Bountiful High School will be renovated to accommodate a new artificial turf football field and an eight-lane running track. . A new entrance, with a ticket booth, will be constructed from the main parking lot. Restrooms, concessions, and storage buildings will also be constructed at the stadium. The new geometry of the track and field will require the east side bleachers to be modified and the existing baseball field will be shifted to the south. work will begin immediately and is scheduled for completion by August 2024.
