Composer: Francois Borne Student Name: Alexis Stats, Flute Player School: Farmington High School Teacher: Brek Mangelson Lexi is a senior in the Farmington band program. She has served as our section leader in the marching band and wind ensemble. She is also a member of a dance company. Currently, she is planning on attending Brigham Young University in the Fall. Her teacher shared "Lexi is an outstanding player in the program. She was the piccolo player in the top All-State band, 2nd chair overall. She's amazing, one of the best flute players I've ever had. Her solo piece is incredible." |

These students have been selected to represent Davis School District at the International Science and Engineering Fair. They will compete against students from 78 other countries. Description:
Dr. Toone will inform the board on recent legislation affecting procedures for instructional material adoption. Ms. Kuck will inform the board on the process and results of the recent adoption for K-12 mathematics courses and independent study/credit recovery courses. The board will entertain a motion to approve the adopted materials for use beginning in the 2023-24 school year.

1.G.4. Adams Elementary Parking Renovation (exhibit)

Description:
The location of Adams Elementary on Sunset Drive creates difficult traffic patterns for student drop-off and pick-up. The west side of the site will be renovated to create a new parent drop-off loop and parking on the existing asphalt playground. The busses will use the exiting front drive. The new configuration will prevent the parent traffic from mixing with bus traffic. A new asphalt playground will be constructed in the grass area to the south. Work is expected to begin in June and be complete in August.
