Updates to comply with 2020 Legislation - HB14 School Absenteeism and Truancy Amendments.
• Establishes which absences from school are considered in determining if a minor is truant • Replaces age with grade levels, to which certain provisions related to truancy apply. • Changes definition of truant. Recommend approval on First and FINAL reading.
