Federal Programs Director Peter Maluk requests approval to send sixteen licensed staff members to attend a four day Winter Institute with the topic of Cooperative Learning: Enhancing Student Engagement. The institute is being held in Las Vegas, Nevada from February 12-15, 2010. All expenses will be paid for by Federal Title I ARRA funds which are specifically targeted for professional development activities and our Title IIA Professional Development grant. There will be no expense to the district.
