Call to Order/Roll Call:
This Agenda has been posted in accordance with the Texas Open Meeting Act, Texas Government Code Chapter 551, Sub chapters D and E.  This is to verify that the provisions of the Texas Open Meetings Act, Texas Government Code 551.001 et. seq. have been complied with in connection with the public notice of the meeting.  The subjects to be discussed or considered upon which any formal action may be taken are listed below and may be taken in any order.

Pursuant to the newly enacted Texas Goverment Code Section 551.007, the Board will hear public comment at every meeting and will allow members of the public to speak on any agenda item posted for consideration by the Board at that meeting.  The Board may limit the amount of time allotted to each speaker in order to allow an opportunity for everyone to speak who wishes to do so, and to maintain order and efficiency in its meetings.  Anyone wishing to sign up to speak in public comment must do sonot later than the start of the meeting.

Public Hearing:

1. 2025-2026 Proposed Budgets and Tax Rate

Adoption of Consent Agenda:

1. Approval granting superintendent authority to approve 2025-2026 SHAC committee members.

2. Approval of 2025-2026 District Improvement Plan

Action Items:

1. Discuss and consider approval of a resolution providing for the defeasance and calling for redemption certain currently outstanding district obligations in an amount ranging from $400,000 to $600,000; delegating to certain district officials and staff the authority to effect matters related thereto; and other matters in connection therewith.

2. Discuss and consider adoption of the 2025-2026 Poth ISD Budgets for General Fund, Interest & Sinking Fund, and Food Service Fund.

3. Discuss and consider adoption of the 2025-2026 Proposed Tax Rate.

4. Discuss and consider approval of Budget Amendment #6 for 2024-2025.

5. Discuss and consider approval of purchase over $25,000 for IXL Learning site licenses.

6. Discuss and consider approval of update to the 2025-2026 Poth ISD school calendar for early release January 29, 2026.
