WELCOME

Public Hearing to Discuss the 2023-2024 Budget and Proposed Tax Rate.
A public meeting must be held to accept public input before adoption of the budget and tax rate(s).
The budget must be adopted no later than August 31, 2023. In addition, the District has two separate and distinct tax rates.  The Maintenance and Operations (M&O) tax rate is used for the purpose of paying for the general operations of the school district and the Interest and Sinking (I&S) tax rate is used for the repayment of voter approved debt to include principal, interest, and related fees.

Consider adoption of resolution expressing intent to defease and redeem certain of the district’s outstanding bonds.

Consider adoption of resolution approving bond counsel engagement agreement.

ADJOURNMENT: The Board may go into closed session to discuss any item that is listed in the Texas Government Code Section for the Texas Open Meetings Act and that appears on this agenda.
