Grandparent's Day
Date Change — Friday, October 9 at 1:45 PM Fall Assessments We have nearly completed the Fall MAP and FastBridge assessments for our students. UNK TE 204 Students On Tuesday, September 15th, we welcomed 5 UNK students to our classrooms. Most of these students are in year 2. These students will visit us 4 times this semester. Parent-Teacher Conferences Wednesday, September 18, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM, and Friday, September 20, from 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM. Elementary Book Fair Elementary Book Fair - September 14-20 Literacy Training Most of our teachers are going through LETRS training this year. Primary teachers are doing Volume 2 while the 4–6 ELA staff are in Volume 1. I am taking LETRS for Administration. Dan and Shelbie will receive course-specific training at ESU 10 this year. Lexia LETRS (Language Essentials for Teachers of Reading and Spelling) is a professional learning program that teaches educators the science-of-reading-based pedagogy for literacy instruction. |
