Description:
Priority #2: Optimize Facility, Safety & Security, and Infrastructure to Adapt to Student Needs.
Background: This purchase is for the installation of a fire lane and additional parking at Ranchview High School. The scope of work will include materials, site preparation, grading, irrigation, and installation. This purchase will use various vendors from local contracts and cooperatives. The estimated purchase is not to exceed $600,000 and will come from TIF funding. Recommendation: It is recommended that the Board of Trustees approve the purchase of a Fire Lane and Parking at Ranchview High School from various vendors and authorize the Superintendent or her designee to execute purchases and contracts in the best interest of the District as presented. |

Consideration and Approval of an Order by the Board of Trustees of the Carrollton-Farmers Branch Independent School District Authorizing the Issuance of its "Unlimited Tax School Building Bonds, Series 2023"; Levying a Continuing Direct Annual Ad Valorem Tax for the Payment of the Bonds; Delegating the Authority to Certain Members of the Board of Trustees and District Staff to Execute Certain Documents Relating to the Sales of the Bonds; and Authorizing Other Matters in Connection Therewith.
Description:
Priority #5: Optimize All Available Resources
Background: The bond order parameters will delegate the signing of items to the Superintendent and CFO. Upon approval, this authorizes the Board of Trustees to approve the new money sale of the 2023 series of Bonds as approved by the voters, which will be executed by the Superintendent and the CFO. Recommendation: It is recommended that the Board of Trustees adopt an order authorizing the issuance of "Carrollton-Farmers Branch Independent School District Unlimited Tax School Building Bonds, Series 2023" pursuant to a delegated sale.
