Our BPS middle school students competed in the BPS Middle School Quizmasters Cup hosted at Lewis & Clark in May. This event shines a spotlight on academic excellence, teamwork, and critical thinking.
After three competitive rounds with a bracket of 8 teams, it all came down to an exciting final between Lewis & Clark Team #2 and Mission Team #1. Congratulations to the champions, Lewis & Clark Team #2. Bellevue East students spent their morning volunteering as moderators and scorekeepers - their leadership really helped make the event a success. During lunch, middle school students also heard from a panel of high school students offering advice, encouragement, and inspiration. |

BPS had 11 aviation students from our inaugural class schedule their FAA testing and passed. As of May 29th, the world has 8 new FAA certificated commercial drone pilots and 3 new aspiring pilots who have passed the first of 3 major tests on their way to a pilot license.
