1. Create the Meeting

1.1. Select the Meeting Template
Description:
Explain what a meeting template is. Explain that a single meeting template has already been added to the account. Switch from Regular to Special template, show differences |

1.2. Show and discuss pre-populated fields such as Time, Date, Location
|

1.3. Motion Display Text and Meeting Header
Description:
Discuss what Motion Display Text is used for and that you will show it's use later Discuss where Meeting Header and Footer appear. Explain that generally use of these should be minimized as they take up screen space when the board or public is reviewing agenda items. Add text 'This is a Meeting Header" and "This is a Meeting Footer" |

4.2.a. Joining the Meeting
Description:
Show how the Board or other can navigate to 'View Meeting Details (Join Meeting) to either review the meeting information or join the meeting Click on a few agenda items to show navigation. Point out the Meeting Header and Footer and how they take up screen space. |

4.2.b. Leading the meeting
Description:
Explain this is typically done by the individual running the meeting.
The person doing this will need the 'Meeting Leader' permission Watch the 'Leading the Meeting' video |

4.2.c. Minutes Manager Tasks
Description:
Give an overview of the Minutes tools in Premier Explain that a user with the 'Minutes Manager' permission would perform these tasks Mention that the downloadable handout 'Managing the Minutes' covers this in detail. |

4.3. Loading the Approved Minutes
Description:
This is performed by a user with the 'Minutes Manager' permission This is the final step before the meeting is moved to the 'Completed' status. |

Description:

Working with Committees and other groups
Description:
Discuss how committees, commissions or departments work in Premier Discuss how a user can have different permissions in different groups, or may even only have permissions to a single group |

User Permissions
Description:
Basic overview of how permissions are used in Premier. Tie permission to task. If a person needs to do X, what permission is tied to that task. Briefly describe the permissions mentioned in this training: The permission that let's a user setup and configure users is 'User Manager'. Mention we have a specific downloadable handout that covers this in detail. |
