Rationale: 

July 2025

• Student Handbooks: Both the PreK and K-6 student handbooks have been completed and are ready for distribution.
   

• Class Rosters & Schedules:.Class rosters and schedules for the 2025-26 school year have been finalized. Teachers will mail welcome letters during the last week of July so that families receive them the first week of August.
   

• Assessment Schedule: The testing schedule for both fall and winter assessments has been finalized. The spring testing schedule will be determined and communicated later in the year as we finalize specific dates.
  
   

• Kindergarten Round-Up: Scheduled for Tuesday, August 6th. This will give incoming kindergartners and their families a chance to meet staff, tour the school, and become familiar with classroom routines.

 

• Back-to-School Night: Scheduled for Tuesday, August 12th at 5:30 PM. This will be a great opportunity for families to visit classrooms and meet teachers before the first day.

 

• Enrollment:
   

  • K-6: 128 students
     

  • Preschool: 18 students
     

Staffing: We are currently advertising for an elementary paraprofessional to join our team.

Rationale:  School lunch prices are set by the USDA and after using the PLE tool we need to adjust our hot lunch prices for next year (see pricing below).  

K-12 Breakfast $1.80 ($.10 increase)
K-6 Lunch $3.60 ($.20 increase)
7-12 Lunch $3.90 ($.20 increase)
Milk $.50 (same as last year)
Second Entree $1.00 (same as last year)
Adult breakfast and lunch will be released by Nutrition services in late July early August.

Rationale:  Consider, discuss, and take all necessary action on the price of Milk at .50 per pint from Hiland Dairy which is the same as last year

Rationale:  Consider, discuss, and take all necessary action to increase substitute teacher pay for the 2025/26 school year from $155 a day to $160 per day and once you have substituted 15 days the pay goes up to $170 per day

Rationale:  Consider, discuss, and take all necessary action on adding policies 3047 Data Breach Response, 5068 Drug Testing Policy, and 6044 Participation and Assignment of Athletic Teams.

Rationale:  Discuss, consider, and take all necessary action to adopt resolution increasing the school district's base growth percentage used to determine the school district's property tax request authority by up to seven percent (7%)

Rationale:  Consider, discuss, and take all necessary action on approving a HVAC company to service our HVAC units
