July 8, 2024 at 7:30 PM - Regular Board of Education Meeting

Rationale:  Nothing this month.  I'm planning to begin again in September.

Rationale:  (Please complete the sign-in sheet prior to the meeting.  A time limit of five minutes per individual is allowed and not more than twenty minutes per specific topic unless a majority of the Board Members present vote to extend the time limit.  No action will be taken on subjects that are not on the agenda.  No complaints shall orally be initiated against individual district employees or instructional materials used in the district.)

Rationale:  June Highlights

 

• #325 Cheer & Dance Club - They paid for a cheerleading camp at NBC.  They started paying for summer dance camp, jackets and uniform items.  The members have only had to pay a down payment for these items and will continue to make payments.
• #725 Chrome - Summer tech supplies and repairs have been being purchased.
• #713 Foundation - A few more teacher’s grants were paid for in June.  Twice a year money is brought in from the foundation account to balance this account.

Rationale:  July is a slower month when it comes to activities.  There are still some camps going on, and the weight room is open to students.  The shot clocks are up in both gyms, and we will need to get them integrated into our current scoreboard system.  The Booster Club will be showing a movie on the football field scoreboard on July 12th.  The event is free to the public.
