Rationale:  An emergency school board meeting is a special meeting convened to address urgent, unexpected issues that require immediate attention. These meetings are held outside the regular schedule. They must be called under specific circumstances, such as an immediate threat to public health or safety, or a situation that demands rapid decision-making. The meeting must comply with all relevant open meeting laws, including providing the public with notice, although the notice period is often much shorter than for a regular meeting. 

Rationale:  In Nebraska, an emergency school board meeting may be held without the "reasonable advance publicized notice" generally required, but the public body must still use a designated method to provide what notice is possible under the circumstances. The law defines an emergency as an event or circumstance that calls for immediate action or remedy. The meeting notice was published on the Knox County News website, on the state public notice website and will be published in this week's newspaper to meet the state statute for emergency meetings. 

Rationale:  To ensure that the cooperative agreement is finalized and submitted to NSAA by the deadline of Wednesday, July 1, 2026. It is important to promptly address this oversight due to our AD transition and avoid any delays or complications in the partnership between Bloomfield Community Schools and Wausa Public Schools. 

Rationale:  Mr. Brian Eisenhauer has submitted his resignation effective immediately. I recommend the board approve so that administration can begin a search for a new teacher.
