Superintendents in their first year of employment in the State of Nebraska are required to be evaluated by the Board of Education twice. The first evaluation took place in Fall 2025; this evaluation fulfills that requirement.

4.c. Adoption of Personnel Policies 4000-4031 as Reviewed and Revised

The BOE and the Administrative Team reviewed the Personnel Policies 4000-4031 during the April 7, 2025, COW. All reviewers accepted the suggested revisions except for policies 4007, 4017, and 4022. These policies were forwarded to the District's attorney for review and counsel. This action found that the three submitted policies were in accordance and defendable. The BOE was cautioned to keep abreast of the viability of the form links.

4.d. Presentation of the Class of 2025 Graduation List

Rationale:
There have been inquiries about using and implementing certified employees' PTO, Accumulated PTO, the District Bank PTO, and Short-Term and Long-Term Disability Insurance. To assist the administration with applying the parameters of the 2025-26 Negotiated Agreement and the Family and Medical Leave Act (1993), the BOE and the Administrative Team will discuss their interpretations, implications, and possible implementation by the district of the Negotiated Agreement and Policy 4007. No Action will be taken at this time.
