Rationale:  The Celebration of Excellence recognizes students, teachers, staff, and others at Bloomfield Community Schools who bring the District's Mission Statement to life through action, notoriety, greatness, accomplishment, and a host of other descriptors of their contribution to the district's culture and well-being.    

Rationale:  Board members are community leaders, and leaders often need support and guidance in their roles and responsibilities. The NASB exists to do just that. Membership in NASB is vital to the health and well-being of the district. This professional organization provides programs, services, and advocacy to strengthen public education for all Nebraskans. It focuses on the leadership and advocacy of the Board of Education at the local, state, and national levels. 

Rationale:  On Monday, March 3rd, the BOE and the Administrative Team reviewed and revised the 200s Administrative policies of the BCS Policies. This agenda item aims to further review the revised 2000s policies and approve them as presented.

Rationale:  The announcement of current certified employee(s) resigning from their position with the district.
The announcement of certified employee(s), their position(s), District financial impact, building assignment, teaching/coaching assignment, and District Goal level their position(s) fulfill joining the district. 
§ 79-1236 & § 79-831

Rationale:  Cole Bruns has been offered and has accepted our open Asst FB coaching position for the 2025-26 school year pending board approval. Mr. Bruns has his M.A., strong references and brings a lot of FB knowledge with him as a former college lineman. 

Rationale:  Kayla Eisenhauer's contract would be revised from 1.0 FTE para-educator to .5 FTE pre-school teacher and .5 FTE para.

Rationale:  Effective at the end of the year, Mrs. Eisenhauer wishes to resign from her JH coaching duties. 

Rationale:  The BOE Negotiations Team recommends that an amendment be added to the continuing contract in the amount of $        be considered as an addendum to the 2025-26 contract portion of the 2024-2026 contract. 

Rationale:  We need to transition many signature permissions and passwords from Konnie Thiele to Samantha Fehringer to ensure efficient operations and accounting going forward.

Rationale:  The BOE evaluates a first-year superintendent in their first year of service with the district twice - this item announces the evaluation's scheduling and processes.

Rationale:  The announcement of current non-certified employee(s) resigning from their position with the district.

The announcement of non-certified employee(s) and their position(s) joining the district.

Rationale:  Mrs. Oltjenburns has submitted her letter of resignation effective at the end of this school year. She does so with heartfelt thanks for 27 great years and we reciprocate that sentiment to her.

Rationale:  Update and future plans as to the 2025-26 Work Agreements 

Rationale:  On or before April 1, the option school district shall provide the resident school district with the applicant's name. §79-237 This item is purely informational and will include no reporting of names of those who wish to option out of the district.
