Description: 

1. JOC Chair Derl Reichard calls the meeting to order.
2. Pledge of Allegiance is recited by group.
3. Attendance/roll call is taken of JOC members.

Description:  The JOC will hold an Executive Session in the CMAVTS Learning Center at 5:30pm, before the public voting meeting, to share safety and security information and updates as required by Section 1301 of the school code and personnel issues, and then again after if needed, to continue discussing personnel issues.

Description:  The purpose for the Agenda Hearing Period is to permit residents in the audience to make a statement to the JOC on Action Items on the Agenda. (Max 3 minutes). Residents must first sign the Speakers Sign-Up Sheet prior to the meeting and list which agenda item they wish to speak on.

Description:  Approval/acceptance of the consent agenda items listed below, tabled from the June 16, 2026 regular public JOC meeting.

• Approve updated job description for Adult, Industry, and Work-Based Learning Coordinator position. (attached).
• Approve the Letter of Agreement with Next Century, Inc. to renew Director of Student Services/Special Education services with Pamela Kramer for the 2026-2027 School Year at a cost not to exceed $45,000 total. (attached).
• Approve the proposal for shared Business Administrator Services between Central Columbia and CMAVTS (attached).
• Approve hiring the firm of Saxton and Stump, with Mr. Benjamin Pratt as the school's solicitor and for labor relations issues for the 2026-2027 School Year with rates as indicated in the attached re-engagement letter (attached).

Approval/acceptance of the NEW Consent Agenda items below:

• Approve updated 2026-2027 School Year Calendar (attached both with and without key).
• Approve updated job description for Special Education Liaison position (attached).
• Approve updated Act 93 Administrative Compensation Agreement for 7/1/26 through 6/30/31 (attached).
• Approve hiring the firm of Sweet, Stevens, Katz, and Williams for special education legal services for the 2026-2027 school year with rates as indicated in the attached re-engagement letter (attached).

Description:  Brief time set aside for JOC members to make any comments, statements, etc.

Description:  Time reserved for public comments - Residents must have signed up prior to the meeting on the sign-in sheet to speak, having listed their name, district of residence, and topic to speak on. Comments are held to 3 minutes or less per person.

Description:  Record time and motion to adjourn the special meeting.
