4.A. Personnel Report
Description:
The Personnel Report details personnel appointments, changes in assignments, leaves of absence, resignations, sabbaticals, and retirements to be considered by the Board.

4.B. Crowdfunding Request
Description:
The Board is asked to approve a crowdfunding request from the Blue Devil Club to raise funds via the Vertical Raise crowdsourcing site to benefit the football boosters in funding equipment, apparel and supplemental meet needs.

5.A. Treasurer's Reports, June, 2026 and July, 2026
Description:
The Treasurer's Reports reflect transactions for the months of June and July, 2026.

5.B. Ratification of June 30, 2026 List of Bills
Description:
The List of Bills from June 11, 2026 to June 30, 2026 are those checks authorized to be drawn to close out the fiscal year and have been approved for payment by the Board at the June Board meeting. The list is presented for ratification at this meeting. All checks are typical for this time of year and are recommended for approval by the Superintendent.

5.C. Monthly Lists of Bills
Description:
The Monthly Lists of Bills reflect checks authorized to be drawn between July 1, 2026 and July 21, 2026 and July 22, 2026 through July 30, 2026. All checks have been reviewed by the administration. The Superintendent recommends approval of this list.

5.D. List of Tax Refunds for the Month of July, 2026
Description:
The List of Tax Refunds totals $659.24 for one (1) refund for July, 2026. The list has been reviewed by the Solicitor's office, which recommends approval. The list is also recommended for approval by the Superintendent.

5.E. List of District Bank Accounts
Description:
The State requires annual Board approval of all District bank accounts. The list is presented for Board consideration and is recommended for approval by the Superintendent.

5.F. Assessment Appeals
Description:
The Board is asked to authorize Weiss, Burkhardt, Kramer, LLC to file and resolve assessment appeals on terms and conditions recommended by the Solicitor and the Superintendent.

6. Facilities

6.A. Parent Transportation Agreements
Description:
The Board is asked to approve transportation agreements for two District families to transport their students to their current outside placement providers. The Superintendent recommends approval of these agreements.

7. Curriculum and Instruction
|
|
7.A. AIU Title I Services Addendum
Description:
The Board is asked to approve an agreement with the Allegheny Intermediate Unit for the provision of Title I Services for students that reside in the District and are attending non-public school. The District's total allocation is $12,404. The Superintendent recommends approval of this agreement.

7.B. Approval of Federal Grants
Description:
The Board is asked to approve the following federal programs for the 2026-2027 school year;
Title I-A - $176,713

7.C. Act 44 Safety and Security Coordinator
Description:
The District is required by Act 44 to appoint a Safety and Security Coordinator. The administration is recommending Dr. Melissa Friez as the District’s Safety and Security Coordinator.

7.D. Affiliation Agreement with Chatham University
Description:
The Board is asked to approve an affiliation agreement with Chatham University. The District will provide planned, supervised clinical experience, in cooperation with the University, for Chatham students in social and health sciences programs, including Physician Assistant, Occupational and Physical Therapy, Nursing, Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, Athletic Training, and Exercise Science. The Superintendent recommends approval of this agreement.

7.E. Agreements with Wesley Schools for Extended School Year
Description:
The Board is asked to approve agreements with Wesley Schools for the provision of educational services for extended school year from June 29, 2026 through July 23, 2026 for 2 students at a cost not to exceed $4,240 per student. The Superintendent recommends approval of these agreements.

7.F. Agreements with the University School
Description:
The Board is asked to approve agreements with The University School for the provision of special education services during the 2026-2027 school year. The cost will not exceed $27,000 per student, anticipated for 2 students. The Superintendent recommends approval of these agreements.

7.G. Agreement with The Children's Institute
Description:
The Board is asked to approve an agreement with the Children's Institute for the provision of special education placement for the 2026-2027 school year. The Children's Institute is an Approved Private School (state subsidized), non-residential. The District is responsible for 40% of the cost. The District responsibility for tuition for one student is $30,718.80, with potential additional fees added for services provided based on the needs of the student. The Superintendent recommends approval of this agreement.

7.H. Agreement with The Watson Insitute Social Center for Academic Achievement (WISCA) - Sharpsburg
Description:
The Board is asked to approve an agreement with The Watson Insitute Social Center for Academic Achievement (WISCA) - Sharpsburg for the placement of students with special education needs for the 2026-2027 year. The District anticipates the attendance one (1) student at a cost of $67,412. The Superintendent recommends approval of this agreement.

Description:
The Board is asked to approve agreements with The Watson Institute Social Center for Academic Achievement (WISCA) - South for the placement of students with special education needs for the 2026-2027 school year. The District anticipates the attendance of two (2) students at a cost of $67,412 per student. The Superintendent recommends approval of these agreements.

Description:
The Board is asked to approve an agreement with The Watson Institute Education Center - Sewickley for the for the placement of students with special education needs for the 2026-2027 school year. The District anticipates the attendance of three (3) students at a cost of $69,148 per student. The Superintendent recommends approval of this agreement.

Description:
The Board is asked to approve an agreement with The Watson Institute Education Center - South for the placement of students with special education needs for the 2026-2027 school year. The District anticipates the attendance of six (6) students at a cost of $69,148 per student. The Superintendent recommends approval of this agreement.

7.L. Agreement with Weister Educational and Behavioral Consulting, LLC
Description:
The Board is asked to approve an agreement with Weister Educational and Behavioral Consulting, LLC, pending review by the Solicitor's office, for the provision of independent evaluations and assessments for the 2026-2027 school year at a cost not exceed $8,000.

7.M. Agreement with Sunbelt Staffing
Description:
The Board is asked to approve an agreement with Sunbelt Staffing for the provision of 1:1 nursing services for one (1) student for the 2026-2027 school year at a cost not to exceed $70,000. The Superintendent recommends approval of this agreement.

7.N. Agreement with Maxim Healthcare Services
Description:
The Board is asked to approve an agreement with Maxim Healthcare Services for supplemental staffing for the 2026-2027 school year at an hourly rate in accordance with their fee schedule. The Superintendent recommends approval of this agreement.
