Description:
This Resolution is needed in order to finalize submission of the Public School Facility Improvement Grant application. Applications were reopened on July 27th, 2026 and closed on August 7th, 2026. Due to the very limited window for applications, the Department of Community & Economic Development (DCED) allowed the submission by August 7th, 2026 with the Official Resolution being approved at the August 27th, 2026 Board Meeting. The submission was for upgrades to critical building systems within the District. The grant requires a district match of 25%, which equals $893,250.
