Description:  Consider approving the American Speech Language Hearing Association to provide online individualized professional development for nine (9) district staff specific to speech/language and in accordance with continuing education requirements for licensure. Professional development sessions will be conducted online, and documentation will be secured upon successful completion of each session. The amount of the unlimited professional development access is $129.00 per SLP at a total cost of $1,161.00. Costs will be paid through the Special Education budget.
 

Description:  Consider approving the renewal of the site licenses for the Committee for Children's Second Step program for the 2026-27 school year serving students in Grades K-8. Renewal of these licenses will provide continued access to educational resources and support for our students. Costs of $18,234.30 will be funded through Title IV.
 

Description:  Consider approving the renewal of an annual subscription to Smart Futures at a cost of $13,199.00. Costs will be paid through the Title IV budget.
 

Description:  Consider approving the 2026-27 School Handbooks for Cochran, Hepburn-Lycoming, and Jackson Primary Schools; Curtin and Lycoming Valley Intermediate Schools; Williamsport Area Middle School; and Williamsport Area High School.
 

Description:  Consider approving the purchase of Language Live from Lexia Voyager Sopris, Inc. for the renewal of online access for identified students and select district teachers, along with student books/manipulatives for students in supplemental learning support grades 4-8 for the 2026-27 school year. Costs are not to exceed $7,620.35 and will be paid through the Special Education budget.
 

Description:  Consider approving the purchase of Symbol Stix and News2You from Everway for the renewal of access for identified students participating in district-operated specialized classroom programs during the 2026-27 school year. Costs are not to exceed $6,877.72 and will be paid through the Special Education budget.
 

Description:  Consider approving an agreement with the University of Minnesota to maintain certification for Check and Connect trainer for the 2026-27 school year. The cost for this professional development training is $440.00 and will be paid through the Special Education budget.
 

Description:  Consider approving an agreement with BLaST Intermediate Unit 17 for educational services at the LASA Quik residential program located in the Williamsport Area School District for the 2026-27 school year. Costs for these services is paid by the student's home school district and are billed through Child Accounting and the Business office.
 

Description:  Consider approving an agreement with Hope Enterprises, Inc. for the rental of the Teen Link facility located at 612 Willow Street, Montoursville, PA during the 2026-school year to provide students with diverse abilities with the opportunity to develop the skills for independent living. The day rent is $125.00/day at a total cost of $1,125.00. Costs will be paid through the Special Education budget.
 

Description:  Consider approving the Pennsylvania College of Technology course Phys125: College Physics II. The request includes a course weight of 1.4, will factor into the grade point average for the student, and will appear on their transcript. The course would be eligible to meet 1.0 credits of the science graduation requirement. This course will count towards class rank if total credits do not exceed eight course credits for the 2026-27 school year. The course description has been reviewed and approved by the high school principal. Cost of the course is the responsibility of the family. The final grade must be reported at the completion of the semester on a PCT transcript.
 

Description:  Consider approving the Pennsylvania College of Technology course MTH 181: College Algebra & Trigonometry. The request includes a course weight of 1.4, will factor into the grade point average for the student, and will appear on their transcript. The course would be eligible to meet 1.0 credits of the mathematics graduation requirement. This course will count towards class rank if total credits do not exceed eight course credits for the 2026-27 school year. The course description has been reviewed and approved by the high school principal. Cost of the course is the responsibility of the family. The final grade must be reported at the completion of the semester on a PCT transcript.
 

Description:  Consider approving an agreement with the Williamsport YMCA for the School-Age Child Care Program to use Curtin Intermediate School for the provision of before and after school child care for the 2026-27 school year. The program will use the facilities in these schools as defined in the agreement. This program is a direct advantage to school district families, and the waiver of fees is requested.
 

Description:  Consider approving the University of California course AP Art History 1. The request includes a course weight of 1.45, will factor into the grade point average for the student, and will appear on their transcript. The course would be eligible to meet 1.0 credits of the elective graduation requirement. This course will count towards class rank if total credits do not exceed eight course credits for the 2026-27 school year. The course description has been reviewed and approved by the high school principal. Cost of the course is the responsibility of the family. The final grade must be reported at the completion of the semester on a University of California transcript.  
 

Description:  Consider approving an agreement with the City of Williamsport and Williamsport Bureau of Police to provide School Resource Officer coverage for the Williamsport Area School District for the 2026-27 school year. The district will pay the salary and benefits for the cost of one full-time School Resource Officer for the 180 days they are assigned in the district. Costs will be paid through the Student Services budget.
 

Description:  Consider approving the Technology Service Agreement between Williamsport Area School District and BLaST IU #17 for the 2026-27 school year. This agreement will allow BLaST IU #17 to provide network engineering or other related services at the hourly rate of $98.00 for standard service, $130.00 for high level service, and $150.00 for after-hours service. 
 

Description:  Consider approving the purchase of 35 Epson BrightLink 770Fi Projectors from CDW-G, Vernon Hills, IL, at the cost of $72,276.75. PEPPM Contract Number is 548362-079.  Costs will be paid through the Technology Budget.

Board Policy #903, "Public Participation in Board Meetings":

• There will be two public comment sections:  one during the first two hours of the meeting at a time to be determined by the presiding officer; and the other at the end of the meeting. This gives the presiding officer some flexibility to fit the first public comment section into the agenda at a convenient time.
   
• Persons submitting a formal request to speak during the first public comments section should be present promptly at the beginning of the meeting in the event that they are invited to speak prior to commencement of the scheduled business that is outlined in the agenda.  Persons who have submitted a written request will be given an opportunity to make a presentation about an issue that is on the agenda when the issue is scheduled for discussion or about an issue that is not on the agenda during the first two hours of the Board meeting, at a time to be determined by the presiding officer.
   
• Each public comment section will be limited to a maximum of 20 minutes.  Each speaker will be limited to a maximum of five minutes.
   
• Those wishing to speak during the first public comments section must submit a formal request in writing to the business administrator no later than 9:00 a.m. on the day of the Board meeting. This gives people an opportunity to come to the District Service Center on Monday before the Board meeting to read the posted agenda.
