Description:
At the April Committee meeting, the Committee requested more input from the solicitor concerning the frequency of exemption requests and where the request needs to be filed.

The revisions made to the policy are from PSBA recommendations.
Gary Adams, Director of Technology, reviewed the policy and made suggestions as to what should be added to the updated version. |

5.A. Policy 006.2- Recording and Live Streaming of Board Meeting
Description:
Per minutes of April 15, 2026 Board Meeting:
Livestreaming Gary Adams shared the issues that are taking place concerning livestreaming the committee and board meeting using the OWL. We have been using a new camera type, and they seem to be an improvement. One more camera has been ordered. There was a discussion concerning the Livestream/Recording Policy and the possibility of just recording the committee meetings and posting to YouTube instead of livestreaming. We will move forward with livestreaming in the meetings until the policy can be reviewed and revised as needed. |

Policy 218.1 was removed from the 2nd-read policies for approval. Director Freeman requested that Policy 218.1 Weapons be looked at more closely. |
