7.F. Guest Teacher Program
Description:
Authorize the Curriculum Department to implement an annual Guest Teacher Program for the 2026-2027 School Year, which will include the Intermediate Unit and all member districts, in cooperation with the Pennsylvania Department of Education, to address the substitute teacher shortage. Training costs for Schuylkill County residents will be shared equally among the Intermediate Unit and districts with each contributing $325.00. Out-of-county residents will be charged a participation fee of $50.00. Costs include training sessions, clerical responsibilities associated with initial training and recertification process, and advertising.

Approve the proposal from Conexus, Inc. for the replacement and upgrade of the Schuylkill Intermediate Unit's Building Automation System (BAS) JACE controllers from the Niagara AX platform to the Niagara N4 platform in the amount of $45,750.00, in accordance with the attached proposal.

9.B. Catapult Learning
Description:
Approve the 2026-2027 Act 89 Catapult Learning Agreement in the amount of $120,687.00. Catapult Learning will provide remedial reading, remedial math instruction, and guidance services at the St. Jerome Regional School, St. Nicholas School, and Assumption BVM nonpublic schools in Schuylkill County for students who qualify for Act 89 services. These services are funded through Act 89 funds.

Description:
Approve an amendment to the fingerprinting agreement with IDEMIA Identity & Security USA, LLC, increasing the reimbursement rate paid to the Schuylkill Intermediate Unit for fingerprinting services from $1.50 to $3.00 per completed fingerprint transaction, with all other terms and conditions of the agreement remaining unchanged effective July 1, 2026.

Description:
