1. Call to Order: "Good Evening, everyone. It is 6:00 PM on February 25, 2026. I call this Regular meeting of the Priddy ISD Board of Trustees to order. Let the record show that a quorum is present, and this meeting has been duly called and notice of the meeting has been posted in accordance with Texas law, HB 1522."

3. Public Comment: The Board welcomes comments during the public comment part of the meeting. 10. Consent Agenda:
Approval of Previous Minutes Monthly Financial Reports
Description:
a. Consider and approve minutes from previous meetings.
b. Consider and approve the December financial reports. |

11. Consider and possible approval of moving our SPED teacher to a counseling position.

12. Consider and possible approval of Counselor stipend.
Description:
the addition of a counelor stipend allows us to create this position without it resulting in a drop in pay for a candidate moving from teacher to counselor.

13. Consider and possible approve the hiring of a SPED teacher.
Description:
Moving our current SPED teacher into a counseling position leaves open the position of SPED teacher. We have a quality candidate from a neighboring district available. Resume and Letter of Interest is attached.

14. Consider and possible action on ammending the Priddy ISD District Of Innovation plan.

15. Discussion and possible action on resolution regarding Senate Bill 11 (Period of Prayer)

16. Discussion and possible action on PISD Certifiaction Assurance Plan and delayed certification implementation waiver.

17. Consider and possibly approve the Priddy ISD "Good Cause" exception.

18. Discussion of transportation issues, including vehicles used and efficiency of routes.

19. Executive Session: These items require a closed meeting as authorized by Section 551.001 through 551.146 of the Texas Government Code.
Specifically: 551.074 (1) - (1) to deliberate the appointment, employment, evaluation, reassignment, duties, discipline, or dismissal of a public officer or employee.
Description:
Under the Texas Open Meeting Act, Texas Government Code Section 551.001, the Board of Trustees may enter into a closed or Executive Session should they determine one is needed during the course of the meeting covered by this notice. If, during the course of the meeting, discussion of any item on the agenda should be held in a closed meeting, the Board will conduct a closed meeting in accordance with the Texas Open Meetings Act, Government Code, Chapter 551, Subchapters D and E. Before any closed meeting is convened, the presiding officer will publicly identify the sections of the Act authorizing the closed meeting. All final votes, actions, or decisions will be taken in open meeting {BEC (LOCAL) policy}.
No one shall, without lawful authority, knowingly disclose to a member of the public this certified agenda of a closed meeting. A person who violates this subsection commits a Class B misdemeanor and may be liable to any party injured or damaged by the disclosure. Texas Government Code § 551.146(a). |
