    Avrie Lindeman is resigning from her Kitchen Helper position at Woodland Elementary effective 7/7/26.

Description:  a. BTS Building, Grounds, Transportation Committee (To, Edwards, Andes) 7-7-26
  The committee met to discuss landscaping and long-term playground equipment updates at Woodland Elementary school, as well as discuss summer projects across the district and plans for sinking fund projects. 

b. BTS Personnel Committee (Andes, To, Hall) 7-7-26
  The Personnel Committee met on August 19 to discuss open staff positions and to hear hiring recommendations.

     It is the recommendation to hire Erik Berglund to fill an extra Adv Manufacturing 7 assignment at KMS for the 26-27 school year. (ACTION)

It is the recommendation to hire Daunte Fortner to fill an extra Phy Ed 7 assignment at KMS for the 26-27 school year. (ACTION). 

It is the recommendation to hire Erik Berglund as the KHS Varsity Hockey Coach for the 2026- 2027 school year. (ACTION)

It is the recommendation to hire Kyle Pirlot as the Student Council Advisor for KHS for the 2026-2027 school year. (ACTION)

It is the recommendation to hire Tracey Wilinski as the Junior Class Advisor for KHS for the 2026-2027 school year. (ACTION)

It is the recommendation to hire Todd Veale as the Literacy Interventionist for the 2026- 2027 school year. (ACTION)

It is the recommendation to hire Kelsey Fleming as an Educational Assistant at Woodland Elementary School for the 2026-2027 school year, pending a satisfactory background check. (ACTION)

Informational staff updates:
Per Principal Brazeau, Amanda Zambon has been selected to fill the Title 1 position at Woodland Elementary school for the 2026-2027 school year.

d. BTS Curriculum/Extra Curricular Committee (Smith, Edwards, To (Hall in place of Member To)) 7-9-26
  The committee met to discuss the possible addition of a new online curriculum vendor for Flivver Connect, as well as improving academic outcomes across the district.

  It is the recommendation to approve future participation in Schools of Choice as a Section 105 and 105c District (ACTION)

b. 2026-2027 Student Handbooks
   It is the recommendation to approve the Student Handbooks for Kingsford High School, Kingsford Middle School, and Woodland Elementary School for the 2026-2027 school year, as presented (ACTION)

c. Sinking Fund Resolution / Ballot Language Approval
    It is the recommendation to approve the sinking fund ballot language. (ACTION)
