11.A. Optimal Health for Me (oh4m)
Optimal Health for Me is a sexual risk avoidance (SRA) program promoting a holistic approach to sex and healthy relationships. This program aims to provide trained speakers to classrooms within RCS aligned to the standards within the expectations of family life instruction. This program complies with TCA 49-6-1301 through TCA 49-6-1308 requiring a program to be age-appropriate, sexual risk avoidance/abstinence-centered, evidence based, and medically accurate. This program is available for grades 6-12 and ranges from 3-5 lessons.

The Board has been requested to admit a transfer student from another school system under discipline. The student was remanded for possession of illegal drugs.

13.A. Poplar Hill Elemntary Cafeteria Cash on Hand

Description: With the opening of Poplar Hill Elementary School in August of 2025, cash on hand to make change needs to be authorized for the school cafeteria operations. The School Nutrition Department is requesting $50 be authorized as the initial amount of cash on hand for the Poplar Hill Elementary Cafeteria.
